Meet the Women Behind JAG Jeans
We're a group of “designing women” who live life just like you, who know exactly how you feel when trying on jeans.
We're definitely a stylish group, but fit and comfort always come first.
We do all the same things you do in a day.
We “field test” our jeans when we're dropping the kids off at school, running off to work, or relaxing with friends.
All of us are different, so we design for our pear, hourglass, tall, short collective selves when we design for you.
Our goal is simple, to make your perfect pair of fashion jeans season after season.
These are the women who work every day to make sure your Jag Jeans fit perfectly, are the most comfortable jeans you've ever owned, and have just the right amount of fashion to keep you up to date.

Vice President
What are your primary responsibilities at Jag?
“I oversee Design, Merchandising, and Sales.
In my seven years with the company, Jag has grown from two basic denim styles to a complete lifestyle collection that never loses sight of you as our customer.
This growth is only possible due to the extraordinary people who work for Jag, our wonderful retail partners, and of course, you and all the women who love our jeans.”

What do you like to do when not working?
I've been married to my marvelous husband for twenty years and am the mother to two remarkable teenage sons, one of whom is currently completing college applications (GULP!).
I love to travel, read, do the New York Times crossword puzzle and bake.
As for cooking skills, adequate at best and it involves re-reading the recipe a ridiculous number of times.
What's your most rewarding Jag Jeans experience?
My sister-in-law knew I worked in fashion, but gasped when she found out I worked for Jag.
She told me that discovering Jag Jeans was the first time in her life that she felt good about the way she looked.
How cool is that?
Why do so many women use the word “love” when describing Jag Jeans?
Despite being in the clothing business for a very long time, I had the same fashion insecurities as everyone else.
However, once I began working for Jag, I finally found jeans that felt like they were made for me.
Women love Jag because it always fits, it looks fantastic, and it gives you the confidence to try new looks.
What would you like to say to women who have never tried on a pair of Jag Jeans?
No matter what size you are, finding great jeans can be extremely difficult.
Once you find something that fits, it is exhilarating.
Just give Jag a try - you'll be amazed at the comfort, stretch and how great they make everyone look!

What would you like to say to women who have never tried on a pair of Jag Jeans?
“I'm going to keep it simple here...just try them!
I think you will be surprised how many styles, fits, colors and denim options Jag has.
There is something for every woman, shape and age.

What are your primary responsibilities at Jag?
I have been designing Jag for over 8 years. I began my design career in Menswear, but jumped at the opportunity to start designing Women's denim.
This is the first time in my career I can actually say I understand exactly who the customer is.
I am her!
And I have plenty of family and friends giving input on what they're looking for (or missing) in their bottoms - no pun in intended...!!
It is exciting to work on product I believe in and want myself.
What do you like to do when not working?
Outside of Jag and fashion, I'm just as interested in color and texture.
I love working on my home - putting new looks and colors together both inside and out.
I have an eclectic style of old and new, and love to go “junking” whenever possible.
My favorite show at the moment is American Pickers.
I love to see how something old can be used in a new way.
I also garden, sew, have upholstered a few pieces in my home and have become a master interior painter.
Rarely use blue tape, if you can believe that!
I love to spend time with family, friends and pets.
My dream identity would be to become a surfer girl, or work with big cats at an animal preserve.
On a completely different note, I also volunteer counseling women who are dealing with life struggles.
It is a gentle reminder that life is bigger than jeans.
What's your most rewarding Jag Jeans experience?
I think the most exciting thing is having a friend or acquaintance tell me they bought their first pair of Jag Jeans - and they LOVE them!
That is a rewarding moment - to know that they feel great in the product I have designed.
I also love to see Jag on ladies in grocery stores, airports, etc - I feel like a proud parent.
Why do you think the word “love” is used so often by Jag customers when describing Jag Jeans?
I think it's because Jag fits the need of a woman.
We want to feel comfortable and fashionable all at once.
Is that so hard?
Sometimes it is!
But I am glad that Jag has met the need.

What's your most rewarding Jag Jeans experience?
“I loved a thank you card that we received once.
“Dear Jag Jeans...Thank you Jag for getting me out of my comfortable “Grandma Jeans“ into comfortable fashion for “my age Jeans.” ”
She didn't think she could find fashion jeans that fit and are comfortable...until she discovered Jag.
That makes me feel good.”

What are your primary responsibilities at Jag?
Over the years, I have worn many hats during my journey at JAG,
but my main responsibility is to provide the right assortment of styles to our customers and deliver the highest quality product at the best price possible.
I love my job.
I am involved in every step ...from the development of the line to delivering the best fitting jeans to our customers.
What do you like to do when you're not working?
A dear friend of mine once told me: “Love what you do and you will not have to work another day in your life,” so that is what I am doing.
I love to shop and travel, which are luckily both part of my job responsibilities.
My two awesome kids and my supportive husband keep me balanced.
Why do you think the word “love” is used so often by Jag customers when describing Jag Jeans?
Customers love Jag Jeans for their perfect fit, fabric, finish and splash of Fashion.
They love how they make them feel about themselves.
What would you like to say to women who have never tried on a pair of Jag Jeans?
Just try them on! You will lose nothing and gain your new favorite jeans.

Corporate Sales
What do you like to do when not working?
“I'm completely devoted to my family, friends and boyfriend.
I'm a frustrated interior designer.
Aspiring to run a 10K.
Eager to see the world.
My favorite things include but certainly aren't limited to: The Great Gatsby, sunny days, a dirty vodka martini with extra olives, vintage Mercedes and outdoor movies (especially ones that involve Will Ferrell).”

What are your primary responsibilities at Jag Jeans?
I work directly with stores like Nordstrom, Von Maur and Dillards to get an awesome product selection in store every season.
I'm also the lucky lady that gets to travel around the country to support our stores, doing new store openings and product knowledge seminars so sales associates are educated on all of the amazing features of our jeans.
Unofficial duties around the office include singing “bad” music from the 1980's and wearing lots of stripes.
What's your most rewarding Jag Jeans experience?
I'm so lucky that I get to spend a lot of time with customers in the stores.
I'm so rewarded by the feeling I get when I see a woman loving her body in her jeans for the first time-maybe ever-that's pretty inspirational.
It makes me feel good to know that we had a positive impact on someone's life, even in a small way (but let's face it, jeans that make your butt look good is no small thing!).
Why do so many women use the word “love” when describing Jag Jeans?
I think we as women are always looking for those magical things that makes our lives easier.
So when a customer says she loves Jag Jeans, I think she's not only commenting on the fact that she loves how she looks and feels in our jeans,
I think she's also loves that Jag is a tried and true solution for the mornings she can't find anything to wear, and for the evenings when she needs to feel beautiful,
and have fun without worrying if her pants fit.
Jag represents so much more in life than just a pair of pants.
What would you say to someone who has never tried on a pair of Jag Jeans?
It doesn't have to be so hard to find a pair of jeans you love, that look good and feel good!
Do yourself a favor and just give Jag Jeans a try - it's probably the easiest thing you'll do all day.
