Dear Grace,

Spring arrives late where I live, so late that the new leaves aren't even on the trees! How can I get a jump start on spring fashion-wise and shed this feeling of being in seasonal limbo?

I get impatient for the seasons to change too. Especially waiting for spring! You know my trick? Wear white! The old idea of waiting until after Memorial Day is long past...and Jag's white Malia jean is just the ticket. It's super flattering and will get you in a spring mood like that! By the way, I've been known to put on white jeans and flip flops, turn up the heat and have a margarita in the house even when it's raining...remember there's light at the end of the tunnel!

I'm thinking about shorts for spring. I have cargo shorts, but they are big and baggy and look like they belong to my teenage son. I think it's time for a change, right?

Yikes, time for a change! From what I'm picturing, that look should have never happened in the first place! Luckily I have just the short ticket. This season Jag has introduced the Lilly, a really great bermuda with a slimmer fit. The colors are beautiful and they are very cute and crisp...definitely made for women.You'll love them! Quick question. You didn't wear a backward baseball cap with your cargos did you? Please tell me no.

You know what's my go-to for a touch of denim? A denim jacket! It's the perfect casual foil with a pair of white jeans, linen slacks or even over a knit maxi dress with sandals. My choice is Jag's Rupert Jacket in denim or white. It is cropped and fitted perfectly so it has a bit of a tailored look, a great piece to add to your spring (or year round) wardrobe!
